Programs & Services

The AEC provides programs and services in the areas of leadership, professional learning, advocacy, and research and development. These varied programs and services are based on data collected from arts educators indicating areas of need.

The Leadership Academy is the AEC’s intensive year-long professional development opportunity that offers participants a close network of peers who are devoted to becoming leaders in their schools and communities.

Throughout each year, the Arts Education Collaborative works with schools, artists, and area arts and culture organizations to provide educators with professional learning opportunities focused on relevant issues facing the field today.

AEC’s targeted efforts are sustained by wide regional support and guarantee the AEC continues to implement its mission to strengthen education by making the arts central to learning through collaboration, research, and advocacy.
