Ms. Boersma, Project Manager for the Arts Education Collaborative, holds a Master of Arts Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor's degree in music performance from Illinois Wesleyan University. Before to coming to the AEC, Ms. Boersma spent time managing the Illinois Wesleyan Civic Orchestra, working as a production assistant at the Ravinia Festival's Steans Institute for Young Artists, and interning with Midwest Young Artists. As project manager, Ms. Boersma focuses on Leadership Academy, research, and facilitates consulting services to regional school districts.
