Community of Learners for Arts Education
Based on an identified need, the AEC has created a new research-based program in arts education for administrators called Community of Learners for Arts Education (CLAE). CLAE program participants will have the opportunity to examine research supporting arts education for all students, define quality arts education, and create an action plan to support quality arts education in their districts. This progression will provide a way for administrators to strengthen their districts’ arts programs as part of a comprehensive and complete education for students.
Participant Requirements:
- Attend four in-person days (see below for the schedule).
- Five hours engaged in blogging and other work online.
- Eight hours of job-embedded work (which includes the implementation of the action plan).
