The AEC Welcomes New Project Manager

Kathleen Dean is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon’s Master of Arts Management program, and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Ohio University where she majored in Music Theory and Music Education. While attending Ohio University, Kathleen taught private lessons and was an active leader in several student organizations. She interned in the education department of the Pittsburgh Opera and the program office of the Chautauqua Institution.  As an AEC apprentice, she conducted a strategic plan analysis of 53 local school districts and presented her findings to the AEC Advisory Committee in April.

Kathleen is looking forward to managing the AEC’s Leadership Academy and collaborating with teachers, artists, and members of cultural organizations across the Pittsburgh region.
