Mission/Vision/Goals
The purpose of the Pittsburgh Symphony is to enrich the quality of life and advance music as an artform. It is our mission to provide musical experiences at the highest artistic level of expression to enrich our community, and satisfy the needs and preferences of our audiences. The education and community engagement department mission is to engage individuals of all ages in experiences of the highest artistic and educational quality that create informed, enduring, and evolving connections to music and to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
