Mission/Vision/Goals
Carnegie Museum of Art's mission is the collection, exhibition,
preservation and interpretation of exceptional works of art for
the education, enrichment and enjoyment of all.
Carnegie Museum of Art's
school programs support the museum's committment to unique educational
experiences that provide opportunities for students of all ages
to arrive at a deeper understanding of human experience through
interaction with exceptional original works of art. Guided
gallery tours and gallery-studio programs are discussion based and
focus on the power of art to strengthen the visual. critical and
anaytical thinking skills that enhance learning across disciplines.
