Arts Education Collaborative
We strengthen education by making the arts central to learning through collaboration, research, and advocacy.
The Arts Education Collaborative, located in Western Pennsylvania, works to achieve its mission through professional development programs, advocacy projects, and collaborative initiatives among artists, arts organizations, and educators. We engage teachers, administrators, artists, cultural organizations, and parents in strengthening quality arts education throughout a region that is known for its cultural and educational richness.
We hope that you will use this site often as a resource for arts education information, including AEC Programs & Services, the Arts Educator Directory, Leadership Academy, Professional Development opportunities, AEC publications, arts education policy and advocacy information and initiatives, new and ongoing research and development, news and information, School District Liaisons, and AEC Connect – AEC's online community for arts educators to share information and support arts education and each other.
